The story of this property began when owner Gerald Wiens built a handcrafted log cabin on the land in 2019. Originally intended as a cozy weekend escape for visitors looking to unwind, the small cabin quickly became popular with travelers seeking privacy and a slower pace. As more guests discovered the property—especially during the years when quiet, remote getaways became increasingly appealing—the Paw Print Cabin gained a loyal following. Inspired by the growing interest, Wiens began looking at another structure nearby: an unused farm silo that had stood quietly on the property for years. Instead of removing it, he envisioned transforming it into something entirely new. Converting a tall concrete silo into a livable space required careful planning and creative design. Because the structure was circular, traditional layouts were not practical, so each floor had to be thoughtfully planned from the beginning. After months of design work and construction, the silo was transformed into a striking four-story home rising about 45 feet high, now serving as a distinctive two-bedroom countryside getaway.
