The Married At First Sight bride declared ‘I love you’ to Danny as the pair made their decision on whether to stay, or leave the experiment.
Danny was left visibly reeling, thanking Bec for her admission – but stopping short of returning the sentiment.

Danny told Nine after the episode that he was indeed thrown by Bec’s admission of love.
‘I was just shocked when I heard it. Normally, girls would hint towards that,’ he said.

He also admitted that he may not feel the same way about his bride.
Danny confessed that he, ‘definitely would never say “I love you” to someone I didn’t love’.
Bec, meanwhile, admitted that she acted on impulse.
‘At that time, I didn’t expect him to say it back to me, at all,’ Bec told Nine.
‘I had zero expectation of that. But that’s how I felt, and I was always going to say it. I’m not going to deny saying things.’
